The main goals of this project are: 1) To understand the relationships between the coca, cocaine, and mining economies with deforestation and pollution. 2) To assess the association between State supply-side interventions to control these economies and environmental harms based on secondary data and previous studies. These goals will be achieved through different approaches that include econometric specifications, descriptive maps and field-work.
